Since opening our doors to tourists in June of 1976 as a small bicycle rental shop in the Old Harbor district of Block Island we’ve grown, we adding mopeds to the fleet in1982, then later opened another location at The Block Island Boat Basin.

Island Rentals is co-located with Old Harbour Bike and Moped just steps from the Block Island Ferry landing in Old Harbor. Drop your bags and pick up your rental within minutes of arriving on the island. They have Jeep Wranglers, cars, golf carts, eMokes, mopeds and bikes available to rent. Golf carts and eMokes can be rented only for a maximum of 3 hours, and cannot be reserved online in advance. Everything else can be booked on the website, in person or by calling.
