Since opening our doors to tourists in June of 1976 as a small bicycle rental shop in the Old Harbor district of Block Island we’ve grown, we adding mopeds to the fleet in1982, then later opened another location at The Block Island Boat Basin.

Block Island Bike and Car Rental

We offer Trek hybrid road bikes in sizes to fit most adults.(We do not have any children's bikes, tag-a-longs or tandem bikes.) Each rental comes with a lock and a helmet. Bikes are available on a first come/first serve basis - no reserving bikes. Our vehicle fleet includes sedans, Subaru Outbacks/Foresters, minivans, and 2-w-d Jeep Wranglers. You must be over 21 to rent a vehicle, have a valid diver's license and a major credit card. The customer is responsible for providing insurance via their own policy or as supplied by their credit card. Pickup and delivery from the main ferry terminal at Old harbor is usually available.
Half-day, 24-hour and weekly rates. Courteous service year round.
